In Friday's league outing, the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), by a margin of 65-27.

The Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Patuxent smashed McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 59-50, in a non-league outing.
