California High School Soccer - Amador Valley nudges Monte Vista

Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Dons confront the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) in a East Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Amador Valley will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 4-2 league loss to Foothill (Pleasanton, CA).

The Mustangs now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dublin for a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 22. Monte Vista will confront a Gaels team coming off a 1-1 league San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Gaels record now stands at 8-4.
