In Friday's non-league outing, the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) basketball squad edged the visiting North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC), by a count of 59-58.

The Demons (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Richland Northeast was tipped by Spring Valley (Columbia, SC), 78-63, in a non-league outing.
