California High School Basketball - Beckman nips La Habra
December 12, 2018: La Habra, CA 90631 Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host La Habra Highlanders (La Habra, CA), 19-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Beckman upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Patriots host Portola (Irvine, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Pacific Coast bout on Tuesday, December 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Portola lost 79-45 in their recent non-league bout against Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Fullerton Indians (Fullerton, CA) in a Freeway bout, on Friday, December 14. La Habra will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 53-49 non-league win over Western (Anaheim, CA).
