North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Northern drops to New Hanover
March 9, 2019: Wilmington, NC 28401 New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Northern Knights (Durham, NC), 15-3 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Brunswick for a Conference 1 battle on Monday, March 11. New Hanover will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 11. Northern will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 12-7 league loss to Voyager Academy (Durham, NC).
