In Friday's non-league game, the Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) football team smashed the visiting Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), by a score of 52-7.

The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA). The Huskies come into the Express (8 Man) game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Rolling Hills Prep overwhelmed Lancaster Baptist (Lancaster, CA), 20-7, in a non-league game.
