In Friday's league match, the visiting Bryant Hornets football squad scored a big 55-14 victory over the Central Tigers.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Southside Mavericks (Fort Smith, AR) in a 7A Central battle, on Friday, October 18. Bryant will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Mavericks enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 28-14 league loss to North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).
