October 14, 2016: Columbia, SC 29223 Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the host Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC), 44-14 in a league test.
With the win, Porter-Gaud improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cyclones host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to confront the Swampcats in a SCISA AAA test on Friday, October 21. The Swampcats go into the test with a record of 5-2. Laurence Manning Academy won 28-8 in their recent league test against Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC)
With the loss, Cardinal Newman moves to 3-5 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC) to confront the Falcons in a SCISA AAA test on Friday, October 28. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 4-2.
