South Carolina High School Basketball - Charleston Math & Science holds off Baptist Hill
December 14, 2018: Charleston, SC 29403 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC), saw Charleston Math & Science's basketball squad hold off Baptist Hill by a tally of 44-37.
With the victory, Charleston Math & Science improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Riptide travel to Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC) to confront the Eagles in a A Region IV challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Military Magnet Academy won 64-20 in their recent league challenge against St. John's (John's Island, SC)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 15. Baptist Hill will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 33-26 non-league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC).
