The Willow Canyon Wildcats basketball team (Surprise, AZ), was overwhelmed 70-47 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ)

The Monsoon now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Copper Canyon for a 6A Southwest battle on Tuesday, February 9.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Washington (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams come into the 5A Central battle with a 2-3 record.
