In Friday's non-league game, the Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX) football team smashed the visiting Ranger Bulldogs (Ranger, TX), by a final score of 39-6.

The Wampus Cats (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A-1 Region II District 7 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Hamilton was overwhelmed by Leon (Jewett, TX), 40-22, in a non-league battle.
