September 20, 2019: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 The Largo Lions football team (Upper Marlboro, MD), was knocked off 53-24 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD)
The Wolverines (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Surrattsville knocked off Central (Capitol Heights, MD), 50-0, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Friday, September 27. Largo will meet a Hornets team coming off a 15-8 league win over Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.
