Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets (St. Augustine, FL) and the host Nease Panthers (Ponte Vedra, FL), saw St. Augustine's basketball squad hold off Nease by a tally of 53-52.

With the victory, St. Augustine improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Crescent City (Crescent City, FL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 6. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Father Lopez Green Wave (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Nease will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to Oakleaf (Orange Park, FL).
