In Friday's league match, the host Tri-County North Panthers football squad scored a close 35-28 victory over the Twin Valley South Panthers.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH) in a Cross County match, on Friday, October 11. Tri-County North will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 21-20 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, OH).
