February 8, 2019: North Kansas City, MO 64116 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Kansas City Hornets (North Kansas City, MO) and the visiting Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO), saw North Kansas City's basketball squad wallop Oak Park by a tally of 59-35.
With the victory, North Kansas City improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Chrisman (Independence, MO) to confront the Bears in a Suburban - White challenge on Monday, February 11. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 22-1.
Next up, the Northmen confront the Belton Pirates (Belton, MO) in a Suburban - White challenge, on Thursday, February 14. Oak Park will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 42-24 league win over Grandview (Grandview, MO).
