California High School Basketball - Trinity overwhelms Weed

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) and the host Weed Cougars (Weed, CA), saw Trinity's basketball squad wallop Weed by a tally of 51-22.

With the victory, Trinity improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Wolves host Modoc (Alturas, CA) to confront the Braves in a Shasta Cascade challenge on Friday, January 11. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Modoc won 59-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Burney (Burney, CA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade challenge, on Friday, January 11. Weed will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 51-45 league win over Fall River (McArthur, CA).
