Mississippi High School Football - Canton knocked off by Neshoba Central

October 5, 2018: Philadelphia, MS 39350

Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Canton Tigers (Canton, MS), 54-29 in a league test.

With the triumph, Neshoba Central improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Germantown (Madison, MS) to battle the Mavericks in a 5A Region 2 test on Friday, October 12. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 3-4. Germantown lost 40-20 in their recent league test against Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS)

With the loss, Canton drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Callaway (Jackson, MS) to battle the Chargers in a 5A Region 2 test on Friday, October 12. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Callaway won 36-34 in their recent league test against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS)
