Arizona High School Basketball - Boulder Creek nudges Mountain Ridge

Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 67-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Boulder Creek upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Jaguars host O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Desert Valley bout on Friday, January 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-8. O'Connor lost 52-46 in their recent league bout against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Mountain Lions clash with the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley bout, on Friday, January 27. Mountain Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 83-55 league win over O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ).
