The Railsplitters (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons come into the 4A District 1 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Dowling Catholic trounced Ankeny (Ankeny, IA), 24-14, in a league challenge.
The Stars now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City East for a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, October 3. Sioux City North will meet a Black Raiders team coming off a 52-20 league win over Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
