The Westview Wolverines triumphed over the visiting Helix Highlanders lacrosse team by a score of 16-5 in Thursday's non-league match.

With the win, Westview upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, March 9. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 1-0. Patrick Henry won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA)

With the defeat, Helix drops to 2-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to play the Foothillers in a Grossmont match on Tuesday, March 12. The Foothillers go into the match with a record of 2-1. Grossmont won 13-8 in their recent non-league match against Ramona (Ramona, CA)
