In Friday's league game, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) football team got by the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), by a score of 27-24.

The Vikings (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the Tri-County 6 3A game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, Lee County nipped Triton (Erwin, NC), 41-7, in a league game.
