Indiana High School Basketball - Calumet New Tech nips Hanover Central

Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), 49-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Calumet New Tech upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Warriors host Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN) to play the Governors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Governors go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Hammond Morton lost 69-61 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 3. Hanover Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 49-29 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
