The Lincoln East Spartans basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks to 34 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Northeast for a A District TBD contest on Friday, January 5. Lincoln East will battle a Rockets team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 6-3.

The Silver Hawks (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Panthers enter the A District TBD contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Norfolk was nudged by Hastings (Hastings, NE), 33-29, in a non-league contest.
