The Saguaro Sabercats baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Deer Valley Skyhawks to 2 in the Sabercats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Sabercats (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Combs edged Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Deer Valley falls to 5-3 on the season. The Skyhawks host Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to encounter the Dons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 9. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Coronado lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Cactus (Glendale, AZ)
