Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), 74-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbus upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to New Hope (Columbus, MS) to meet the Trojans in a 5A Region 2 match on Friday, January 17. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 9-7. New Hope lost 46-45 in their recent league match against Grenada (Grenada, MS)

With the defeat, Center Hill moves to 3-19 on the year. The Mustangs host Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region 1 match on Friday, January 17.
