Chelsea Dragons (Chelsea, OK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Foyil Panthers (Foyil, OK), 58-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chelsea upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Dragons travel to Dewey (Dewey, OK) to clash with the Bulldoggers in a Northeast Valley bout on Tuesday, January 8. The Bulldoggers go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Bluejacket Chieftains (Bluejacket, OK) in a Lucky Seven bout, on Thursday, January 3. Foyil will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 45-31 league win over Commerce (Commerce, OK).
