Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves (Exeter, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE), 22-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Exeter-Milligan upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Giltner (Giltner, NE) to play the Hornets in a D2 District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Giltner lost 47-42 in their recent league bout against Cross County (Stromsburg, NE)
