The Neshoba Central Rockets football squad scored 38 points and restricted the visiting South Panola Tigers to 6 in the Rockets non-league victory on Friday.

The Rockets now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lauderdale for a non-league battle on Friday, September 3. Neshoba Central will face a Knights squad coming off a 32-16 non-league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Tigers face the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 3. South Panola will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 24-17 non-league win over Brandon (Brandon, MS).
