The Whitney Wildcats topped the host Santa Ana Saints basketball team by a final score of 48-34 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 9. Whitney will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 21-8 record after their 77-60 non-league win over Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA).

With the defeat, Santa Ana moves to 17-10 on the year.
