The Pacific Pirates basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Corona Panthers to 53 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller for a Mountain Valley contest on Wednesday, January 23. Pacific will battle a Rebels team coming off a 63-43 league win over Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 16-4.

The Panthers (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Corona, CA). The Huskies come into the Big VIII contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Centennial triumphed over Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 74-65, in a non-league contest.
