Kansas High School Basketball - California School for the Deaf-Riverside tops Kansas School for the Deaf
January 18, 2019: Olathe, KS 66061 California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS), 45-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, California School for the Deaf-Riverside upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Model Secondary School for the Deaf won 36-10 in their recent non-league bout against Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 19. Kansas School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Sentinels come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 36-10 non-league loss to Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC).
