Colorado High School Basketball - Gateway topped by Pine Creek
January 11, 2018: Colorado Springs, CO 80908 The Pine Creek Eagles basketball squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Gateway Olympians to 52 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, Pine Creek upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Eagles host Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Rams in a 5A Colorado Springs Metro bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Rampart won 75-65 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO)
Next up, the Olympians play the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) in a 5A/4A East Metro bout, on Friday, January 12. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO).
