York Dukes (York, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE), 57-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, York upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Dukes host Aurora (Aurora, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 26. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Aurora won 66-63 in their recent non-league bout against Seward (Seward, NE)

Next up, the Patriots play the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 26. Adams Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE).
