September 24, 2016: Monroeville, OH 44847 The Northview Wildcats topped the host Monroeville Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ursula Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. Northview will confront a Arrows team coming off a 3-0 league win over Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Arrows record now stands at 11-1.
The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Hilliard Darby gained a win over Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH), 3-0, in a league test.

PERRYSBURG - In the second match of the Block and Gold, Northview was able to defeat Monroeville fairly easily, 25-11, 25-11.
Leading for the LadyKats was passing with an average pass of 2.43 on a 3.0 scale. Senior Sydney Boerst led the Kats with 7 kills, hitting .364, while also posting 3 blocks. Also contributing the team success was junior Rachel Phalen and freshman Hannah Frame, who both contributed 5 kills a piece. Junior setter, Aly O'Lenic dished our 17 assists and junior libero, Paige Beck, had 10 digs to lead the team.
