West Virginia High School Football - Ritchie County drops to Doddridge County
September 21, 2018: Ellenboro, WV 26346 In Friday's league game, the Doddridge County Bulldogs (West Union, WV) football team knocked off the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV), by a score of 41-12.
The Bulldogs (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Tigers come into the Little Kanawha game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Wirt County was dropped by Tyler (Sistersville, WV), 63-6, in a league game.
The Rebels now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ravenswood for a Little Kanawha game on Friday, September 28. Ritchie County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 28-3 non-league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-2.
