December 18, 2018: Ballinger, TX 76821 The Grape Creek Eagles basketball team (San Angelo, TX), was overwhelmed 58-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX)
The Bearcats now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brady for a 3A Region I District 4 battle on Friday, December 21. Ballinger will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-51 non-league loss to Irion County (Mertzon, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
The Eagles (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wall (Wall, TX). The Hawks come into the 3A Region I District 4 battle with a 16-0 record. In their last battle, Wall trounced Sonora (Sonora, TX), 52-25, in a league battle.
