The Jonesboro Hurricane basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Branson Pirates to 33 in the Hurricane non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricane now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29.

The Pirates (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marshfield (Marshfield, MO). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Marshfield was routed by Central (Springfield, MO), 56-44, in a non-league contest.
