Colorado High School Basketball - Columbine overwhelms Pomona
January 25, 2019: Arvada, CO 80005 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO) and the host Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO), saw Columbine's basketball squad wallop Pomona by a count of 57-11.
With the victory, Columbine upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Rebels host Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Jeffco challenge on Wednesday, January 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Ralston Valley won 57-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO)
Next up, the Panthers play the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A Jeffco challenge, on Wednesday, January 30. Pomona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 62-56 league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CO).
