November 2, 2019: Wellesley, MA 02481 The New Bedford Whalers football team (New Bedford, MA), was knocked off 42-20 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA)
The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Natick (Natick, MA). The Redhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Natick knocked off Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Whalers now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durfee for a Freelance challenge on Thursday, November 28. New Bedford will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-5.
