Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ), 52-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Thatcher upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Sahuaro won 70-29 in their recent non-league bout against Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Amphitheater Panthers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 27. Desert Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
