Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 15. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Sea Hawks enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).

The Apaches now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leuzinger for a Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 15. Centennial will confront a Olympians team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Olympians record now stands at 2-5.
