Florida High School Basketball - Windermere ripped by Cherokee
December 28, 2018: Windermere, FL 34786 The Cherokee Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Windermere Wolverines to 23 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Enka for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. Cherokee will meet a Jets team coming off a 69-67 non-league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Jets record now stands at 10-0.
The Wolverines (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Dr. Phillips triumphed over Colonial (Orlando, FL), 48-42, in a non-league contest.
