September 20, 2019: Kingwood, WV 26537 The Preston Knights football team (Kingwood, WV), was beaten 28-18 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV)
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians come into the Big Ten challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport was beaten by Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV), 34-15, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lewis County for a Big Ten challenge on Friday, September 27. Preston will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 24-7 league win over Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-1.
