The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers basketball team (Tucson, AZ), was nudged 77-71 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV)

The Diamondbacks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silverado for a 4A Desert - Southwest battle on Tuesday, December 4. Desert Oasis will battle a Skyhawks team coming off a 59-40 non-league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-0.

The Badgers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Lake Havasu edged Lincoln County (Panaca, NV), 64-61, in a non-league battle.
