The Chester Volcanoes basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting American Christian Academy Eagles to 37 in the Volcanoes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Volcanoes now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercy for a Five Star contest on Friday, January 11. Chester will battle a Warriors team coming off a 38-36 league loss to Burney (Burney, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Maxwell ran past Princeton (Princeton, CA), 25-10, in a non-league contest.
