California High School Basketball - Willows crushes Pierce

Willows Honkers (Willows, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), 56-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Willows upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Honkers host Winters (Winters, CA) to play the Warriors in a Sacramento Valley bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-20. Winters lost 41-26 in their recent league bout against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Colusa RedHawks (Colusa, CA) in a Sacramento Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The RedHawks come into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 56-13 non-league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, CA).
