Game Summary
In their most evenly matched contest of the year, Husky bats woke up deeper into the game. After scratching a few runs against a strong Deer Valley defense in the first few innings, the Huskies got to Skyhawk pitching late to pull away. Jordan Wehr gathered herself after a number of questionable calls to execute a dominating pictching performance. Avery Denekamp and Jackie Carbajal made a number of great catches to quiet Deer Valley rallies through the middle innings. Daniela Uriarte, and Hannah Wall also contributed with nice catches. Uriarte's on a line shot she snagged to end a Skyhawk threat!
