North Carolina High School Basketball - Raleigh Charter holds off North Carolina School of Science & Math
December 4, 2013: Raleigh, NC 27605 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Raleigh Charter Phoenix (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting North Carolina School of Science & Math Unicorns (Durham, NC), saw Raleigh Charter's basketball squad hold off North Carolina School of Science & Math by a tally of 39-32.
With the victory, Raleigh Charter improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC) to confront the Lion in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 6. The Lion come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill lost 48-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Unicorns confront the Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC) in a 2A Northern Carolina challenge, on Monday, December 9. North Carolina School of Science & Math will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
