Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN), 60-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blaine upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Princeton (Princeton, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Princeton won 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 29. Duluth East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
