Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Robeson Mustangs (Rowland, NC), 39-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Red Springs upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to play the Wolfpack in a bout on Tuesday, February 5. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Whiteville won 38-34 in their recent league bout against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, February 7. South Robeson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
